Comment:

This man has complete mastery over his material and his classroom. He also goes out of his way to establish personal rapport. Dore has acheived a perfect intellectual balance in lecture technique and the presentation of himself to his students. It is obviously the product of years of experience. His style should be emulated and respected.

An excellent Prof-Not perfect but if all of my profs were like him, I would be glad to get up and come to class every day. Oh and when you compare him to some of the others, he is a godsend!

I always find I think I know what's going on, then do only okay on my exams. He's a tough marker, but one of the best teachers overall. Wish we had more profs like him.

While some of his lectures tend to lull the class into daydreaming, he is the best prof at UNB. I can honestly say that contracts is the only course I actually learned practical skills from. He is also one of the nicest guys around - take his classes.

Done now, but I do not understand contracts. I think the "secret" is that he expects a lot of independent work done at home, and class supplements that; if you're not willing to really put in the time at home, class simply obfuscates things.

When he's doing his Socratic thing he's great--very engaging, informative, and entertaining. It can be a struggle not to doze off when he lectures. All in all, I'd definitely recommend him. He knows his stuff and has a genuine interest in his students.
