worst visual arts teacher i ever had at york! she constantly put her own work into lectures and was highly unorganized. she once asked our class who painted the mona lisa because she couldn't remember! the mona lisa! as if this woman is allowed to teach art! avoid her at all costs.

It's an okay course. Kartz was very organized, everything from the CK was on her lectures..so if you didn't read the CK she reiterated in lecture. She says it isn't a history course, but I totally felt that it was. All in all it's not that bad, just the 8:30 timing sucked.

my least favourite class my entire year at york - but this i mostly attribute to my TA. i acquired a wealth of knowledge about contemporary art, but lectures were at times scattered. it was an 8:30 class. three hours long. i fell asleep. a lot.

i had her 2 times first year. dropped because the re-reading of material and the coldness of the room and the 8:30ness of the morning were killing me... however now i need that credit for my degree, so i must subject myself to it all over again
