Honestly, if you do your work, you will get a good grade. If you read the books, you are guaranteed an A. She doesn't grade harsh, and she's overall not a bad teacher. Her class is just a drag. It felt like I was in there forever. All she does is read passages from the book, asks questions and sends you on your way.

LOVE her! She's going to write a letter of recommendation for me. Alot of people try to avoid her as I did because of what I heard but she's nothing like they say she is. You might hear that she's intimidating but that's not true she just know BS when she sees it. Step your game up, be a real college student and you won't have any problems.

Cavanaugh's class was one of the best and worst experiences of my life. Because she was such an insufferable professor, my classmates and I were encouraged to band together in order to make some sort of sense out of everything. Made great friends-learned absolutely nothing. Grading was completely subjective, avoid her classes unless you are intense

WORST teacher. She expects you to make her class number one priority. She always wants class discussion but no one reads for her class because no one can understand the material. then she makes you feel dumb for not understanding it. Not personable AT ALL, says umm and okay wayyy too much.Rediculous. don't take her if you can help it!

Took Early British Lit. Excellent teacher. She requires a great deal of work outside of class, especially reading, but she is fair and very clear and helpful. And kind of funny in a little-old-lady sort of way. Highly recommended if you want to work hard.

She wants you to talk in class but when you do she cuts you off. She gives way too much work for the level of class. and for an english teacher says "mmmmum, okaaaay, aaaaaa" way too much. not good. The class has great information and she cares about what she is teaching but dose not give the information to the class in a good way. And she changes dates on you. -drives me crazy.
