Kate is a bit of a bully, she pushes her opinions and vales onto you and questions you opinion. There are several times that Kate has called out students and made some students feel stupid and uncomftorable, even visiting her one on one can be discouraging. She makes everyone feel unwanted in the class.

Kate is brilliant, witty, and deeply passionate about her academic work and people. She is always willing to engage in conversation about the course readings if you need extra help to understand the material, or to offer some wise words of guidance about personal identity.

I found Kate to be extremely rude. She appreciated when students would talk in class but shot down anyone who did not share the same views as her own. I would not recommend this professor to anyone. Too judgemental towards people and puts labeles on people

Kate Krug has been a huge influence in my life. She gave me the opportunity to be the best student and person that I could be. Even when I failed, Kate reminded me that my failure doesn't reflect on me as a whole person. I am so thankful for everything Kate has done for me.

Kate is the most unprofessional professor I have ever met. She does not hand back marks because "life happens" and has absolutely no structure in the classes. If you are taking this course, be ready to have to teach yourself everything. On many counts she has also been very rude to different students.

Kate was one of the nicest people I have ever met and also one of the most understanding. The references she used sometimes were a little different but always made sense when you really think about it. Missing a class is hard to follow with her but she is always willing to help. She also responds to ALL e-mails within 24 hours!

Kate has been the most helpful prof I have met at CBU. She has gone out of her way to help me develop as a student and as a person. Her approach to teaching theory is different, but it works! Don't expect to take this class and learn nothing. Expect to have to think and express yourself! She isn't an easy prof, you have to work for your mark.

Kate is one of the best professors that I've taken courses with. I have very little notes in her class, yet I still feel that I understand everything that she has taught me this year. She understands that life happens and is a very reasonable person. I recommend that everyone take a class with Kate before graduating from CBU.

Yeah she talked about her personal life. Oh well people talk about their personal life all the time get over it. She made class entertaining and humourous. I would recommend everyone to take at least one class with her and make their own judgements. Kate did a great job and I will take classes with her again.

in my oninion Kate is a horrible professour i will never take another class with her ever again. she talked about her own personal life more then she talked about the class topic.it was hard to tell what she wanted and she didnt want your opinion, unless it was the same as her own. i dont like her and tell my friends not to take her classes.

Kate was very vague; I didn?t miss a class, and still didn?t understand what she was talking about. Her critical questions are difficult, it often seems as if she wants you to have the same opinion has her. She doesn?t interact with her students often, and frankly she talks about her personal life way to much! I would not suggest this professor.

Great sense of humor but that doesn't really help the class. Very difficult to figure out what she wants from you. Was a bit like the smart kid in the class showing off for the rest of us. Her view is the one she expects you to share. Very intimidating, especially to newbies. Mature students may relate better. Not a "teacher".
