Katharine's scene study class is super straight forward and as long as you put in the work she gives you a good grade. We worked on three different scenes throughout the sem which she graded us on. We wrote one paper in response to a play. She can come off as a tough cookie but she really cares about her students and her acting criticism is great.

K-Noon is a good teacher, although she does come off as a bit aloof and noncaring. As long as you rehearse and try her suggestions, it's an easy A. She will downgrade you if she can tell you have not rehearsed or don't know your lines, but she's also understanding if you have a good reason for messing up.

Knoon is really good at what she does, but she didn't ever seem that into the class...seemed like she didn't want to be there. She also has you do some really pointless warm ups every class that I didn't really see any point in. Also, she's a huge stickler on attendance. She brought my grade down from an A to a B+ solely because of attendance.

I could not stand this class. Katherine made us do a lot of exercises that were pretty useless. For example, one day we had to pretend we were walking through mud for about 20 minutes. We also spent way to much time playing catch. I didn't feel like I learned anything or became a better actress.

Don't mistake her lack of smiling and sometimes harsh facial expressions as her being mean. She is an incredible teacher. It's sooo interesting to watch people transform into incredible performers with her direction and help. She's very well connected and respected in LA and will take the time to meet with you personally...which i highly recommend

KNoon is the best! She is so intelligent and give you feedback which really ties everything together. She is so much fun. Her classes are lighthearted and fabulous! She knows what she's doing and she WILL make you a better performer. No question. Take her class!!!!!

KNoon is brilliant. She's a working, well respected professional in Los Angeles and I'm honored to work with her. She doesn't smile much and is pretty disciplined but I really do feel like her critiques will help me grow SO much! She has a sarcastic sense of humor and you just have to keep in mind that she is treating you like a professional.

Well, let me start off by saying that I am a non-Major and this was a class to fulfill my Fine Arts requirement. I had a feeling that she did not enjoy teaching non-majors like we were and maybe even resented it. I have heard that she's a great teacher for majors, but I really think that she could have done a better job with the class I was in.

Katharine Noon is a wonderful professor. DO NOT listen to people who complain about her because their lying. Everyone should be lucky enough to take K. Noon in their time here. She is a mentor and is ALWAYS willing to help. She NEVER talks down to you or makes you feel "stupid". DEFINITELY TAKE HER!
