Exams were good. Nothing tricky or confusing there. You had to read the textbook for some of them though. If you didn't, there was no chance of guessing it. Her assignments were bad. Yeah you were able to do some "field work" but she doesn't really tell you what she expects. Don't expect to be told whats required. Good luck

Must handwrite several pages of notes per class, nothing on UR Courses. Course is really rushed & fast-paced.Tests are very random info & are NOT easy.She is very strict & marks HARD.Not very friendly or caring AT ALL.Her matter of returning e-mails is highly unprofessional.I always get high 80's and 90's...I will be happy to pass this class...

Comment:

She really is a good prof that knows her stuff and is able to convey that during lectures. She makes the material interesting, but be prepared to take a lot of notes because she uses an overhead rather than UR courses. The class was not that hard and marking on both papers was fair. It is not an easy ride, but it is worth it in the end.

Very nice in class and knows her topics well but not willing to meet on her own time. I found her to be grumpy and almost rude when I approached her to look over my midterm DURING her office hours. Midterms are easy but she marks WAY too hard on your papers and is not clear on her assignments. I won't be taking another class from her!

She gives lots of notes out but why wouldn't she put them on a powerpoint instead of making us write them out. She doesn't even use ur courses. She marked way too hard on the projects. The tests seemed fairly easy when you wrote them but she marked way too hard on the SA and essay questions. Don't take this prof for psyc. 210

She's interesting to listen to in class, but do not take this class from her. The tests are very hard. Questions do not come from what is discussed in class, instead you are required to read the text book over a million times and memorize it word for word if you want to do well. I'm usually a good student, but this class was brutal!!

Really terriable teacher she doesnt help you out at all. Flys right through all material, as well as the chapters which are very long and she expects you to read it all. All the MC questions are from textbook and they are hard ones or about a topic you dont focus to much on. There is no room for non attenders. Pays marks and attention to favourite

Excellent prof! Classes are interesting and keep you listening. Also very understanding and willing to help! Only problem, you need to read the text book. But if you attend class and do well on the in class questions, it makes up for it. Definatley would recommend, and will be taking another class with her if possible.

LOVED HER!! Great teacher, super nice person. I found her class easy, as long as you skim through the textbook, and just read your notes before the exam. She makes class interesting and funny; it's not hard to sit through a class with her. I will definitely be taking more classes with her! If you are a semi-good student you will have no problems!!

Lectures are interesting and clear and she can be amusing sometimes and overall I did like this class. However, a little too much focus on the text book for tests especially considering the large amount of lecture material. She is also a tough marker and assignments are not explained very clearly!

Don't take a class from her unless you have time to read the entire text book, go to every single class, and study for at least 12 hours a day for the tests. Even if you do all of these things, you still might get a crappy mark. She just thinks that her class is the only one you are taking. Wasn't a witch of a person or anything, just hardcore!!

Amazing professor - she definately knows her stuff. I would highly recommend her class to anyone. Her lectures are interesting, funny, and enjoyable. I've never had another prof who brings chips, chocolate and pop to the last class! Best prof ever!

This class is awsome. She gives you lots of notes but they are very clear and helpful. It's not hard to get a good mark as long as you put the effort in. GREAT PROF< RECOMMEND HER CLASS!!
