This is probably the hardest core course ever. If you take Dr. Mc your writing skills will improve alot, but only if you work your ass off. Don't expect to be given anything. Unless you impress her alot she will give you the generic C grade.

At first, you'll hate her guts and probably call her names, but she really grows on you. She's a really nice lady and very helpful. Her class is hard, but if you're a good writer, you'll do fine. She does get on your nerves saying "Are you following my train of thought" about once a minute, but she's a great teacher and you'll learn a lot.

if you're lazy, you might wanna get someone else. very demanding but you'll learn a lot and become a much better writer and researcher. i think my class started out with about 30 people; now after midterm, we have 16. not one of us has an A right now. a C is something to be fairly proud of with her. she's fair; you just have to be a great writer.

Unnerving. Uses her own alphabet soup lingo for everything, which is confusing as hell. I'm a quality English student, I enjoy the class, but I assume Kathleen disagreed with some of my views and despite my following ALL the ridiculous assignments, I pulled a B. AVOID THE CAT LADY. (shes obsessed).

She is a great teacher but expects a lot out of her students. It is really hard to please her. I edited my paper so many times but it never was to her liking. Dont expect an easy A. This class is hard but it can be fun at times. If you are looking for a "bird course" do not take this one.

I worked really hard for this class. I spent hours editting papers throughout the semester. I went to see her and got comments on my papers, and I thought I changed everything to her liking, but it's like I could never get it perfect. There was always something more I could do, no project was ever finished and it was very frustrating. Avoid her

Had her back in Spring 2000. She was blunt, cussed, and did some other things some may've taken offense too, but I didn't find her class to be that hard. She got you to come have a meeting w/her about your paper after each one and asked at the end what you think you deserved to make. She's demanding, but I enjoyed having her. Just don't be lazy.

I love Dr. Mac!! She is very demanding, but if you do your work and actually try to make your papers better for her you will get a good grade. The only thing I didn't like was her grading system. She doesn't give you a grade until the end of the semester.

hard class.She says to forget everything you ever learned in your high school english classes. You have to put in a lot of time and effort to writing your papers outside of class. She expects a lot out of you. She's unclear with what she wants the papers to be like, and you only know what your grade is in the class at midterm, not before.

Dr. Mac is a fantastic teacher. Yes, she is hard and the class involves a lot of work.. but if you go to class and put effort into it you should come out of it being able to write papers a lot better. She's always willing to help and she tells you EXACTLY how she wants your papers to be. You have plenty of chances to revise them too.

First off I will say that Dr. Mc is a super nice lady. She does offer any extra help that you may need and does give you the entire semester to make a paper where she wants it. The work load is extremely extensive and there is not a lot of room for other classes. It also is hard to improve on papers
