Kathy knows what she is talking about and I believe her research methods class made me a better writer. I noticed she marked me easier than my friend so she will mark you on what she believes are your abilities. )My friend was obviously smart and therefore was graded harder.) She is really nice and will give you an extension no questions asked.

Everyone loves Kathy Mac! She is such a great prof! She is strict, but forgiving. If you have a late assignment, but a decent excuse she is more than willing to still mark it. She knows what she is talking about and expresses a huge interest for the subject matter. If you need help, email her. She is so easy to get in contact with.

KathyMac is great! She's really strict, and oes lot of in class group work (for Romantic Period, that is) and a lot of tests unfortunately. But beyond of that, she is funny, energetic, brilliant, and very approachable. You have to work hard for her class, and read the material in advance, but still a great prof to have. Highly recommended.

She expects a lot from her students. I hated her class the first time I had her. She taught me Eng 2006, then Women Writers, then the first 1/2 of the Romantic Period. By the time I finished my degree my writing had improved dramatically and I owe it all to her! If you're serious about learning you should listen to her!

One of the worst Eng. prof's at STU; she was horrible. Don't expect to state your own opinion unless it is consistent with hers. I have a 4.0 and had a hard time with her. YOU MUST agree with everything she says. Good LUCK!

Kathy is stricked but fair; you earn your mark. Lazy, care-free people that are always late for class should not register for her class. If you are a hard worker, she'll help you in what ever way she can. There is ALOT of writing assignments for her class (instead of exams). I loved her class and will take it again.

I think Dr.Mcconnell is an awesome person and has alot of fun teaching this class and it shows but it very strict with papers and writing styles; a hard marker.
