Professor Manthey is quite knowledgeable as well as talented in the area of mathematics. She has great ability to compute numbers in her head quickly and often raced us on our calculators. She is lively and entertaining as well as adept at explaining concepts clearly. Any prof who keeps students awake in a 6:00-9:30 PM Calculus II class has skills!

Very helpful to those who try. Can have slight foibles, but knows how to get to the point. Having taking this class with her and another teacher. I much preffered her approach.

I couldn't complain about Ms. Manthey. She treated me well in her class. She tends to talk about stuff that's unrelated, but she's nice and if she sees you trying she'll be helpful. She doesn't like slackers though!
