I really enjoyed her class. She an ideal professor for a Gen-Ed history class due to her clear grading criteria & openness to extended deadlines. Her emails can be kinda confusing, but I dont think she means to be harsh its hard to distinguish tone in email conversations only. A good class, good professor, and I would definitely take her again.

Weekly discussions, had 5 written assignments that were pretty easy. 4 multiple choice tests, most answers could be found online. Pretty reasonable lady if you email her asking for an extension, etc. and she responds quickly.

Easy class, no quizzes, textbook work is done using Connect and is very easy. Test are also easy as they can be found on quizlet. Her grading policy is very confusing and all over the place and she is hard to communicate with but if you do all the work it will be an easy A.

This class is incredibly easy but this is the worst online professor I've ever had. She's extremely rude when replying to questions, her grading is inconsistent and she is a stickler for grammar but doest even speak good english. Take with caution.

Online class. Syllabus looked like it was written by a 5th grader, requires discussion posts. Assigned something due in 10 days, 3 days in changed the due date to 7 days from initial date. Didn't have to read anything in the book, the online questions were easily google/guessable.

I took this class online, and it was super easy. The professor herself isn't that great because she is confusing and does not write using proper grammar and punctuation, which is irritating because she expected our writing to be free of errors. I would only take her again online.

Taken as an online class. There was not a lot of communication to class, but she did respond quickly to emails and was very helpful. Have to check in every week for discussion posts that are mandatory. 3 tests and a final. Easy grader and all of the tests are on quizlet. Do the work and you'll get an A!

She doesn't speak great English... If you take this class online, it's an easy pass... Do the weekly chapters on connect and a simple discussion board. nothing too heavy. Easy A.

Take her. It may seem like a lot but her class is simple. Read a chapter a week, do discussions, and respond to 2 others. 5 assignments and a few tests. Her tests are LONG but not really difficult. I could've gotten an A but slacked off a little and got a B. Take her!

In the beginning, this class is very confusing because people aren't really sure how it works. Just stick it out and it'll be fine. Every week you read a chapter, do a learnsmart, and a discussion post. Very easy class and interesting. Professor offers extra credit. 5 assignments throughout the semester. Tests are over weekends.

Very easy assignments. The textbook work can be done within an hour, and you just have to do a discussion post about something in the chapter. The tests are hard, nit-picky stuff from the textbooks. Use her outlines and you'll be fine.

Everything can be done in a day. You have to do a discussion post (literally like 2 sentences) about an "artifact" or historical figure from the chapters that week. The missions are easy, every few weeks, and the tests are on quizlet if you dig. I had a 100 all semester and she didn't make me take 1 test NOR the final. She rocks.

Nit picky questions from the textbook. However, she gives you at least 2 hours for each exam online. Print her chapter outlines to refer to as they are quite helpful. She offers extra credit so take advantage of it. Most of the extra credit is attending lectures on campus, which was problematic for me. But, if you want the extra points do it

Overall an easy class and she is an easy grader for homework which consists of weekly blogs that can be done in 30ish minutes. Tests are hard... very specific, made a B average. HOWEVER.. the tests and "missions" open only on weekends and take the full two hours. As with any online class make sure you pay attention to deadlines.

You participate in a discussion every week and have 5 "missions" to do. There are 4 tests that are very very very hard. The questions are very picky. Read all the chapters and take notes on the outlines she gives you. Do extra credit if you want an A. THere is just so much material covered on each test, which makes it very difficult.

The work for this class isn't too bad. Some discussion post and some responses along with four test. She is however the rudest professor I have ever had. If you have a question for her be prepared to be belittled because she can be very condescending.

The course is completely different from hist1110. The class is through cengage and your tests are taken through cengage. The questions are difficult even though it is open notes and open internet. You must read 4 chapters for each test and study thoroughly. Her outlines help but the questions are still difficult with 2 hours for 100 questions

She's fabulous but so damn rude. She doesn't teach instead just rambles. 5% of her 'lecture' is actual material. I just did my own research for the papers so make sure you go into EXTREME detail. If it says 8-10 pgs do 11. Don't be a smart ass because she will ruin you. Says she'll fail you over 2 absences, I missed like 5 and still got an A.

This prof speaks her mind and its not always nice so be prepared to let her remarks roll off your back. All exams are essays and the grading is very subjective. The assignments are vague, and she expects you to send a rough draft of your work so she can tell you if its right. It would be easier if she would just explain it clearly to begin with!

Dr. V is a tough cookie, but she is one of the best professors I have taken! You need to be open minded to do well in this class as she will challenge EVERYTHING you've been taught. Do the work to the best of your ability and actually participate in class and you'll do fine! If you are sensitive, avoid this class, or else you'll have a bad time.
