Professor Sen is super easy to listen to and his exams are really easy. You only do 3 small projects for the semester plus two exams so there isn't much work outside of the classroom involved.

Hes a great professor and a good guy all around. I think he wants the best for his students but bottom line he expects too much from his students especially considering this most likely isnt the only class they are taking. Tests and quizes are online in class, questions are randomly pulled from the text.

I took him for both Intermediate and AIS. All tests and quizzes are online for both classes. You have to go to him during his office hours to get a couple of extra points. He tries to look out for his students by postponing quizzes but a lot of times I feel like he plays around too much.

Nice smart man with vivid explanations of material and relating to real world. Do all book problems b/c on quizzes and exams assigned randomly. Clearer in 375. All exams are online but have to show up to class to take them. In 375 gives chapter quizzes and practice tests to help learn material. Fair grader upon student requests to review grades

Just note that I am an Accounting Major so my opinion may vary from most. I think Sen is an amazing professor. He really knows his stuff and could talk all day about the subject without any confusion. Textbook was mandatory for study reasons, otherwise good luck passing. If you ever go to his office hours, he is such a nice and helpful guy

EVERYTHING is on connect! Like all other acc. prof at pace he thinks everyone is an acc major so he expects you to already know half the things he's talking about. Get ready to teach yourself bc the hw is completely different than what he does in class and the hw is weighed the heaviest. Reserve a seat in the tutoring center now.

Expect a lot of homeworks, quizzes and tests. He is extremely bad in communicating with students. Whenever I asked a question I felt mocked and he is sarcastic which isn't good especially when you don't understand the topic. He strictly follows the policy! Needs to understand that NOT EVERYONE is an ACCOUNTING MAJOR!

He is really bad at communicating with students. He assumes everyone is a CPA candidate when not everyone is a Finance major. He never learned "don't assume." He is the best professor I've taken in Pace University. He is very smart and he is there for helping students. He try to teach us as much as he can. I learn a lot from him and got an A. If you do really want to learn something and you have basic knowledge of Accounting and Finance, choose him. Good luck.

Smart guy but assumes everyone else is smart. Spends very little time explaining. Poor people skills. Grade is dependent on how well you teach yourself. I learned nothing from lectures and I went to every single one.

Unorganized way of teaching added to the extremely heavy course load. He is obviously very knowledgeable but most of the class did not have any idea about what's going on due to the way he teaches. This course is really hard but he is not a hard grader. the first class, he suddenly talked about the financial models which freak everyone out. He really want to teach students something. but he pushed too hard. We were fed up too much financial models & accounting knowledge. If you already have basic knowledge to read an annual report choose him!

This professor is sometimes can confuse you with a new material, sometimes it seemed that he did not know what he was talking about. The class was not interesting at all. Prof. Sen is definitely an effective communicator. He Responds to emails promptly and is willing to help students. He is much better than most accounting professors. You will get an A if you put in effort and take a few shots of espresso before reading the chapters. Online quizzes, 2 easy projects, 5 internal control quizzes, and final. No sweat

He should be teaching more at Pace U. He is a genius with great communication skills. He explains things very well and offers a lot of real world examples. He teaches with a certain amount of enthusiasm and is humorous at times. The material is very boring but he makes it interesting. I strongly recommend people take him rather than the others.

Comment:

Professor Sen seems to teach at a higher level than what the class can comprehend. For example, he tends to display 4-6 different versions of the same equation. It makes ACC645 even tougher because there is a lot of material to cover. However, he is very informative and a fair grader. Take his course for his insight but be prepared to work.
