This is literally out of 100 points. 6 pop quizzes (2pts) - worst gets dropped, 3 open ended exams (20pts), a lab exam (20pts), and taping exercises (10pts). Therefore, if you mess up on the first test, you are pretty much screwed for the rest of the semester. The lab exam is so difficult and I don't think I've studied for something so much.

The hardest class I took this year and the reason dropped Athletic Training as my major. 2 exams and 1 final of 20, 20 and 25 open ended questions respectively. The questions are not hard but you can get 1/8 of a point off sometimes. Those lost points pile up and make it hard to get a good grade. Very hard class, dont take if you dont have to.

I learned so much from this class, but had to work my butt off for the grade that I earned. Study all the time with a group for pop quizzes and make notecards for extra credit! The lab exam is intimidating but as long as you know your stuff you are good to go! DO NOT try to cram the night before for this class, there is way too much material.

MAKE NOTECARDS for literally everything. Don't be intimidated by Keith, he's great, very helpful, and I've learned more from him than any other professor here. Memorize your notes and you're golden. Lab exam is nerve wracking but if you know your stuff and study regularly its doable. Recommend taking it during winter session for sure.

If you must take this class, have a friend that already took it or is currently. FLIES through the lectures, uses outdated methods, and it's a 3 credit course with a lab final. Grading system is terrifying. Take with your electives/breadth because it's too much info for 3 credits. Shame, because it's GREAT material if you can decode & organize him.

I really enjoyed this class and all of the information and things learned in lab were interesting. If you go to class and study your notes you should do fine. All the tests are short answer which is hard, but not to bad. I just wish I had more time to put into the class because it takes awhile to memorize the information.

Bc there is no textbook, your only source to go to is the teacher..which is a really hard source to utilize considering how rude and non compliant he is to help. He's unreasonable and questions on the test are too vague yet he wants you to be specific with your answers. AVOID..spare yourself the frustration

He is a very good professor but he requires a lot of work for his class. The quizzes and exams are straight forward. You don't need the textbook. Just know the notes like the back of your hand and you will get an A. And ask questions if you don't understand! He will help!

If another professor is teaching this course, it would be best you go with the other professor. Class is mandatory because there are unannounced quizzes and he expects you to know exactly what he's talking about at all times. Exams are 20 short questions and you must list everything he wants in order to get full credit. AVOID if you can.

I really enjoyed this course. I agree that there is a lot of information to learn, but Keith is very helpful. The information was not hard to understand or memorize. His quizzes and exams are short answer but they are not tricky or hard at all straight out of the lecture material.

Yes, this class has a lot of info and requires so much time, but the only upside is that he tells you exactly what you you need to know. On the other hand, he needs to retire. He is extremely nit picky when it comes to grading & the entire class is based off 100 pts. I have no interest in AT but its a requirement. He can very rude at times too.

A lot of people are crybabies about the athletic training class. Yes it is a lot of material and yes the class is difficult but if you are in the field of health and exercise sciences YOU SHOULD KNOW THIS MATERIAL!!! The stuff is interesting, important and practical. You will learn more in this class than any other. Keith is also an awesome guy.

Not a bad class as long as you keep up with the notes. Don't bother buying the book, everything you need is from your notes. Good teacher, but his lectures trail off in many directions, he likes to talk really fast too. Memorize your notes for tests.
