Dr. P is amazing. I took him for both semesters of organic. He teaches honors so if you aren't a serious student or a chem major, I do NOT recommend taking him. I read every chapter to ace his tests. You must show up for every lecture or you will not pass. Buy the workbook and do as much of it as you can before his tests. 4 tests, 1 final.

I had him for Chem 1211 Lab and he was such a wonderful lab professor. He was clear on instructions and goes around making sure you do well. He may be rough on you but he only does it so you pass the lab. If he see's you are working hard he will help you out with passing. He grades easy and is great for helping you on lab. TAKE HIM!!

By far my favorite chemistry class. He is very intelligent and he's not a hard grader. You risk your grade by not showing up to class, but he makes Chemistry more interesting. Orgo is a challenge, but he makes it easy to learn. I highly recommend his class to anyone serious about medicine or any proffessional field.

Just to warn people who are going to take his class it is much harder than the other Orgo classes, he is a great chem teacher likely the best at GSU and has basically mastered the material and he expects the same from his students. His test are super hard come prepared take me for my word. There all about 12 pages and with only about an hour.

Really great and funny guy but I found his lectures to be utterly confusing. His tests had questions on things we only covered for about 5 minutes. Sent him an email because I needed something to be clarified but never replied. I feel like he did very little to help me out in the class. Got my first B in my undergrad career.

Great professor really inspires a desire to learn the subject. Professor Pascoe has a vast knowledge about organic chemistry and has much experience and background in the subject. Would not take him if you are an intermediate student only the best can get A's in his class. Do not pass him up if you are a chemistry major or serious pre-med

Fantastic Professor!Years of experience show with his ability to not know his craft through and through but also know students and their common faults/areas they need more help in. Very helpful professor and his TAs have everything graded by next class.

Dr. Pascoe is definitely a very good teacher, knows his subject, and explains it very clearly. However, his tests are very hard - about 12 pages and you have only 1 hour and 10 minutes. So, if you want to get an A, study hard, then do the tests in the workbook, and time yourself!

o. chem is HARD!! this class is not a joke. study a lot to earn a B or higher out of this class. He knows how teach the subject well, but his exams are very difficult. I understand why only honors and chemistry students are allowed to take his class because he sets the bar high and takes no mercy. grading scale is on a good curve though.

I heard a lot of horror stories about orgo, but this guy broke it down! Show up, listen, and he'll tell you how to survive his class. Very tough class, but totally survivable. Has a good sense of humor too!

Fantastic teacher, but repeats material too often. It's deliberate; most need the drilling, but it's still boring. Throw something wild and interesting at the chemophiles once in a while!

This class is obviously not easy...it's Organic Chemistry. Strongly recommend to attend EVERY lecture, read ahead, do all the homework, use his workbook, bring colored pens to lecture because it can really help when you're taking notes, and go to his office hours!

Org 1&2--Dr. Pascoe is up there with my three favorite professors. I really hated the thought of Organic since I wasn't crazy about chem in general. Dr. Pascoe has such a love for it, it's infectious. He writes reactions and explains them as if they're dances. He's helpful and fair. A's in both classes, with work to learn the material. Very fair!

He is really nice. I only did like 3 or 4 practice exams on the weekend before each test and managed to get an A in orgo 1 and a B+ in orgo 2. I did not even touch the book throughout the whole semester. I probably could have gotten an A+ if i would have actually tried. I suggest you register for Comar and come to Pascoe's lectures.
