One of the easiest if not the easiest class Ive taken in college. No papers, no group projects. The class requirements are clearly described in the syllabus. 10 short article readings, 5 graded articles that you turn in, and 3 tests. Attendance is important for articles. If you show up,do the homework, and pay attention in class youll pass easily.

He goes exactly by the book and is not lenient for anyone, no matter the circumstances. His only offer is to meet with him before tests or whenever needed to help go over information. He will make you feel dumb, even if you did the assigned reading or have been paying attention and you just genuinely don't understand it. Can be insensitive.

Most class periods are spent discussing economist articles or taking notes. Tests are the majority of your grade. Textbook not used at all. Professor can be funny at times and will give extra help to studying for the exams upon request!

By far the worst teacher I've had at GRCC. He is so rude and demanding to every student he speaks with. The most biased person i've ever met. All quizzes are online and your final is an essay question that he grades very hard. He makes you feel stupid and calls every student out in class. I would not take this class with him again!!

I took this class online over the summer and it was the easiest thing you could possibly do. every quiz has the answers online where their are quizlets made every test with all the answers. With it being online that is the most of your grade and you dont need to do a single thing, just google the quiz and you will pass with an "A"

St. Clair is a narcissist that cares more about the sanctity of his precious syllabus than he does about his students. However he noticeably has 'favorite' students that are awarded special consideration. Class itself isn't difficult, just busy work; no extra credit, no late assignments.

He tells things exactly how he sees them but as long that won't offend you then you'll be fine. 3 online tests, one essay style. Economist magazine readings weekly. Take good notes on the readings as he will grill you pretty hard to make sure you understood what you read. Don't use textbook except to log in for online quizzes.

Was a nice teacher until the last few weeks. Mother passed away and wasnt very lenient on my grade and failed my by .2 percentages over missing 10 points on something that happened the week of the death. All other professors have a little more heart in a situation like this. Educated teacher, was nice all the way til the end. Very disappointed.

Prof. St. Clair overall is an alright teacher, but he can be quite condescending. Some may be put off but to those who can see past it will do fine. You have to read Economist Articles for each class and discuss them at random for points which is annoying. Tests are multiple choice (gives study guide) and a short answer. Textbook is useless.

I accidentally spilled water all over my laptop during one of the tests and he refused to let me retake it. just don't see that as a prof that wants his students to do well.

Very condescending, rude, lectures don't add up to what's in the homework, he assigns to read the economist articles, and then asks questions that aren't even about the article. Definitely wouldn't recommend to any of my peers.

St. Clair really isn't as bad as many of these reviews make him out to be. He can be a bit snarky, yeah, but he was clear on homework guidelines and also pretty entertaining. The homework consisted of Revel chapters, Economist articles, 1 group project, and a few tests. It's an easy A if you do your homework and participate in class.

Online class is very tough. You must participate in discussions 4 days each week or you get deducted. You also have to take chapter quizzes each week on Pearson 4 hours reading and a 15 question test for each chapter. You'll spend at least 10 hour each week reading, discussing, and quizzing. Not a class to take if you work full-time!

I do not understand why people do not enjoy this class. This was one of the easiest A's you can obtain (PS110). 3 of the 4 tests are online (hard not to get an A). The one difficult thing is the written essay and if you put some effort into it you'll be fine. Only reason don't pass is from lack of effort.

He's very opinionated and isn't excepting to life experiences or others opinions. He can be very condescending, and his lectures never pertain to anything on the tests or the homework. You will have to do all of the learning yourself online. He's very sarcastic and rude.

Absolutely everything you do in this class doesn't even relate to the overall class or exams. Everything you do is online, he's rude, and says he will work with you; that's a lie. He makes you feel stupid and look stupid in front of the class if you answer a question incorrectly. Wouldn't recommend this professor to anyone.

Comment:
The professor was very demeaning if you said something incorrect. The class requires a Revel book reading with quizzes that don't help towards anything in the class. There are also economist articles, and he will pick on you if you do not get the correct answer. By far the worst prof i've had at GRCC and this is my third year.
