Comment:

Keith is a wonderful man, very kind and fun to be around. However, he fundamentally does not understand the different way people learn and thus doesn't understand how to teach. Single worst professor i have ever had. His slides are complicated and difficult to understand and doesn't clarify them. Seems he almost tries to stop you from learning.

Very good in small groups and excellent one-on-one. He cares that you understand and do well. So you are lost or struggling, do make an appt to see him during office hours. Offers you free coffeetea. Not as good in a lecture setting, esp when they are 2 hours long. Sth about his delivery maybe. Read all instructions carefully and beforehand.

If ur late, you better come in through the back door of the room. Cuz, he'll stop in the middle of his lecture & MAKE you do it! Make sure you sit in the very front, his writing is super small & barely readable. He doesn't mark his Exams, etc. in this course. Caution: He's stricter than his marker! (I would write more but there's a 350 word limit.)

This teacher uses 12 point font on his overheads. You cannot see anything unless you are in rows 1-3. The has a thick chinese accent which makes him difficult to understand. Keith does not project well in an auditorium. You can somewhat get this guy in a lab however.

Understood more in the one 1711 class he substituted than i have so far all term from walsh. Little bit hard to understand through that accent, but its not bad if you concentrate. I'm suprised that someone with such a great vocabulary has a think accent like that. I'm sure you could get used to it quickly tho.

He's the Database man. He seems to know everything about DB and is a very good guy. He has a strong chinese accent, but finally he speaks slower than before. So you can understand him better. And he's the DB option head from 2005.
