Dr. Wessels is a great teacher, one who takes the time to listen to her students, and a teacher that really cares. You have to enjoy the course, make use of office hours, and good grades will be there.

Agree that it's a tough course with lots of material BUT there's lots of instructors (eg. Dr. Lo) who teach courses that are just as tough with just as much material & do a much better job of it! She's all over the place - she's just a ****ty instructor!

Dr. Wessels is a wonderful person and a good teacher. You WILL know the matterial very well coming out of this calss, but don't expect stellar grades without lots of work. She has a tendency to be all over the place when she teaches, which can be hard.

Too much info. for one course, not her fault though. Use lec. outline to follow what she is saying; otherwise, too much writing. Told us to know certain things for final and then hardly covered them, focusing on things never mentioned* HARD COURSE!

Extremely helpful if you just ask! Must have the maturity to admit difficulty in this course is not the teacher, but yourself. She doesn't spoonfeed her students and expects them to think for themselves. You have to do your homework!
