Kelly is a great teacher. I wouldn't say she picks favourites as much as she choses to give her attention more to those who work hard in studio. She can be cold at times, but she is an instructor, and that is her only role, so don't take it personally. Best advice, approach her with questions, don't pull back, you will look dumb.

She gives bad directions. One person will ask a question and get one answer and someone will ask that same question and get another answer. She isn't very encouraging being creative, she chooses favourites and can be rude at times. She's also very disorganized. She hired us to do work for her, without checking to see if it was possibleto pay us.

She means well as a teacher but has trouble balancing her teaching priorities with her coordinator job. Her crits are always helpful, while you have to work to get her attention it is worth becoming one of her favorites. Don;t slack in her class and you will get so much out of it!

Can be nice when she wants to be, but when she is, its like she is doing you a favor. She is honestly not approachable, does not reply to e-mails, picks favorites and doesn't know how to balance teaching with coordinating and doing her personal design work.

Kelly is a pretty good teacher in general. I found her a ittle cold though. Also, she doesn't answer e-mails and definatly picks favourites. Sometimes she can make you feel stupid for asking questions and does not encourage students to be creative. Function, function, funtion!!!
