I had Doc Bindas for American History Through Popular Music. He is a super chill guy. He wears a hoop earring. He's really about writing papers based off the assigned readings, however you can convince him to push back deadlines. In my class, we ended up not having a final and our last paper served as our final grade.

I took Honors US Modern History with Bindas. He's a really great teacher. He's got a great sense of humor and he makes history very interesting. He explains himself very well and he is willing to help you if you have trouble. If I ever had to take history again, I'd take it with Bindas. And by the way, this is coming from someone who hates history.

(Formative period) Knows his stuff very well. I'd never take another Professor for History. He made everything interesting when you wouldn't think it would be--you can't help but actually pay attention to what he's got to say. Make sure you read though, exams go much easier that way. Especially since his questions are directly from the book.

Easy, easy class. I got a high A in here. There were some essay exams, but you could write everything on a "cheat sheet" NC and use that NC while writing the essays. And all the textbook exam questions came EXACTLY from the questions at the end of the chapter. I mean, seriously, how much easier could a class be than that?

Nice professor and nice guy. Do take this guy if you can. Bindas is significantly better than 90% of the Hist. profs. at Kent Main. Ive taken those classes at Kent Main and you can look up the ratings of most of the History professors at Kent Main if you don't believe me.

By far the best teacher at KSU TC. He has a wonderful sense of humor and is a master at story telling. He makes history fun and he is nice to look at - definately the hottest professor at Kent Trumbull.

Now, this class was a bit harder than HIST 12070. If you are not good at writing, do NOT take this upper division class unless you have to. It is writing intensive, even though it doesn't say that anywhere in the Undergrad. Catalog. He wants in depth thinking on the papers. Must read novels.
