KG is the perfect policy prof, if your part of the 90% of people who get bored listening to him then you are not made out for any career even near policy maybe politics at all. He is an incredibly nice and generous man, never mind his vast knowledge in regards to everything he has ever read/seen/heard or been a part of.

Comment:
Dropped class because of his painful, class-time filling, boring self-indulgent digressions. I am pleased to know that one oughtn't walk in a canyon when it rains but what has this weekly reminder got to do with U.S. Politics? That he's from New Jersey is marginally interesting but not really useful for a thorough understanding of U.S. politics.

I thought he was very nice, knowledgeable professor. I found his digressions interesting for the most part (and handy for figuring out how to wrangle extra marks out of him). Assignments were blissfully clear. I did find it irritating when he interrupted student presentations--disruptive for presenter and audience. Sometimes went over class time.

He does talk alot and add lots of anecdotes but stories are all related in some way to the point at hand. I recommend reading the material, jotting down the PPoint notes, grabbing a coffee, and taking it in.He is interesting.Remember his stories for the tests. Very accessible also.

Cannot stay on topic!!! Lectures are lagging behind schedule to the point where we've already been tested on the material being currently discussed in class. Although very knowledgeable on the subject, he lacks the ability to create interest in the topic, be concise and clear, and relate lectures to the ridiculous amount of reading assigned.

This man KNOWS ethics. More accomplished than I realized coming into the class, generates a very congenial atmosphere. Excellent focus of discussion, marks very fairly. Talks a little bit too much from time to time, making it difficult to get through presentations, but otherwise great.

nice, helpful professor, but gets sidetracked way too easily into stories of various vacations. material is dry to begin with, and the longer it takes to get to the point, the worse.

This prof is very bad. Segways and poor lecture methods. People were raising hands to ask if we were maybe going to LEARN anything today, amidst many speeches concerning his latest trips to the US. I dropped it and you should too!!! GIBBONS = BAD

If you think this course is hard for an intro course, you're stupid. He does like to talk a lot, and yes, does have a story for everything, which makes his lectures very forgettable, but he's a very nice guy and very helpful.
