Ken was one of my best profs, his teaching style was clear and his notes on blackboard were almost exactly what he said in class. very easy class to pass if you study the material. dont buy the textbook though, i never looked at it the whole semester and still did very well in his class. very interesting teacher and subject matter.

Ken is overall an excellent teacher. It took a week or two to get used to his lecture style. He still rocks the chalk, and he has taught this class so long that he forgets what he has taught or not taught. His lecture notes in the library are thourough- i suggest photocopying them and highlighting only the stuff you need.

Classes were boring, his tests were nothing from his notes. I wondered if the tests were for the same class. Didnt enjoy his class at all, so so boring.... Your better off to read the text and not go to class.

Ken is an excellent teacher. He made the subject interesting. And I am only taking science for credits. His notes ARE relevant. As long as you actually come to class, and don't rely on the ones in the library. Had a blast. Love his pictures.

I have had Ken for 4 classes and he is a great teacher. Ken's lecture notes are exceelent and his tests are fair. Ken has a great sense of humor that makes his classes fun and interesting. I would say Ken is one of the best teachers at TRU and has the best sense of humor!

he's a great teacher, i wish i still had him... now that i'm at uvic geol gets alot harder and less interesting... i thought his 205 class was awesome, smaller, and you appreciate his humor when the subject could be very dry; 1 more thing - geology rocks!
