Dr. Klemow is the greatest man and professor! He offers extra credit throughout the entire semester and if you do all of them and do well on them, it can bump your grade from a 3.5 to a 4.0. Take the lab notebooks seriously and they can also bump your grade up! Test questions are very specific, but go to his review sessions and youll get freebies!

Comment:

Such a great guy, he reminds you of your favorite grandpa. There's a lot of information in the course and it's basically all memorization. But he offers sooo many extra credit opportunities. You can tell he'd be so happy if everyone got a 4.0 in the class. Exams can be hard so you do need to study.

Lot's of extra credit available. Go to review sessions and read over the packets given and you'll be good. Also don't wait until the last minute to do the lab journals. They are easy just take time.

The class was based around power point notes, which made studying the material super easy. The class overall is very manageable, if you put in the effort to study for the exams, which he gives a detailed study guide for. Overall, the class itself was not too bad, and easy for a non-major.

Dr. Klemow's lectures are long and boring; he lectures about one topic for a whole week and then the day before an exam he tells you to read the book and watch his homemade podcasts to teach you the information on the exam. He gives plenty of bonus opportunities, and if you do not utilize every one then don't expect any respect or help from him.

Take the provided note packets and takes extra notes on them. Learn it all, as you do not know what will be on the tests. Clicker questions are a pain. Sunday reviews can literally be hours long. It's passable, but kind of all over the place at the same time.

Klemow is...Klemow. Very easy class, but quite boring at times. Sunday night reviews give you everything you need to know, and exams/quizzes are easy. The labs take forever, but help with learning material. No matter how difficult it is to pay attention, if you listen to what he says you'll get a 4.0. Way easier than BIO 121!

Fairly easy class. Provides you with all the information you need to know. Go to his Sunday night reviews!! He gives you pretty much everything that will be on the test or quiz! Labs were not bad. However, lab write ups take FOREVER! Do not wait until the last minute to complete them!! Offers a lot of bonus. Much easier than Bio 121!

Overall, Klemow's class wasn't that bad! He's a really nice guy, but if you go to him for help, expect very little of it. However, it is a really interesting class. The worst part about it? LABS. Labs are the worst ever. They're not hard and they're not complicated, but they take foreverrr. Also, there is a lot of drawing in lab too, so good luck!

This class is so easy compared to Bio 121. Klemow is a great teacher! And very easy. Podcasts are great! They Help with lab discussions (easy but time consuming) and test answers. LOTS of bonus opportunities! Study and you will be fine. Great teacher! Easy to talk to and gives interesting and funny side topics and random information.

Very knowledgable, but also very boring. Beware of the podcasts and the lab write ups are ridiculous and take way too much time. Pure memorization, although he says that he wants you to learn the material. Tests had tricky questions, but easy if you knew the material. Study and you will do well.

BEWARE OF THE PODCASTS!! the class is rather easy overall the labs are annoying as hell and i feel like he takes my money alot for random things. He likes to rant about nothing and to talk about himself. his name is everywhere. A 4.0 in his class is a 92 not the standard 90. not cool.

Comment:

Annoying as all hell, the man cannot teach to save his life. We spend a good 20 min of class each day with him talking about how we're behind or him telling us to look at the website and then telling us exactly what is on it. I'm sick of his podcasts too. take the 10 min in class to go over the material and we wouldnt need to do the lame podcasts.
