He is a great guy who gets to know everyone in the class and jokes around a lot. The tests can be hard (but they're all online, like the weekly quizzes) and anything that you get points off can be argued if you just go talk to him. I probably should have gotten a C but I ended up with a B+.

Great friendly guy, likes to joke ALOT which slows things down. Makes a lot of irrelevant comments. I never really learned anything during his lectures, read the chapters in text if you haven't taken stats before, its a easy read and I definitely learned more from book than from him. Makes a lot of mistakes on online quizzes, watch out for those.

Lewis/Teate sections are easier than the others, but they still arn't great. Teate and Lewis both make too many mistakes in homeworks and labs, leaving us trying to understand something that hasn't been fully taught. The syllabus was not followed after the first week. The material was unorganized. Read that ancient book, it helps.

Dr. Lewis is a really nice guy and a fair teacher. He is pretty vague and unclear at times but he does his best to help students understand. He generously curves tests if everyone struggles and there isnt a whole lot of work in the class.

Funny guy, just not if you have to learn from him. He claims to know a lot of stuff, but you leave the classroom knowing as much as you did when you went in - just more frustrated. Most of the learning you have to do on your own. Not an excessive amount of work.

hard class with lewis, but he tries. homeworks and quizzes are difficult, especially if you have not had AP calculus & AP physics already. he talks out problems step by step in powerpoints rather than working them out on a whiteboard, which i dont like.

Greatest professor of my college career! His bow ties will amuse you, his lectures will enlighten you, his enthusiasm will motivate you, and his tests will challenge you. Just don't try to do the crossword puzzles faster than him, he's unbeatable at that!
