Solid professor. Mixes lectures with some class discussion. You'll learn a lot if you pay attention. Good and fair guy. Would take his class again.

Boring, boring, boring. Class was a straight up lecture- no visual aids. Tucker is a nice guy, but his style of teaching is very outdated and as a result, he cannot engage students in the subject whatsoever. Speaks in a monotone and nobody pays attention. Avoid.

I was disappointed with Tucker. He is a knowledgable professor, yet his lectures tend to be a bit dry and dull. He was dependent on his notes for lecturing the class. I have learned a lot from the material in the class and used a lot of that knowledge for my other classes, but I still would rather not listen to him lecture.

One of the best professors I've ever had and one of the best, if not the best professor at Mount Holyoke. You will learn so much from him! Yes, he assigns a lot of readings, but if you really get into the material, you'll thank him for it. If you want to become a better thinker/student/scholar/person, take one of his classes. I've taken 4 thus far.

I loved K. Tucker! Very nice man, the discussions were very interesting, and he made himself available for questions and such. Fair grader, does require a lot of reading but I thought he chose interesting sources. Highly recommend him!

He's a great guy; really funny and really nice. I loved the class. He led some great discussions. However, the class was very heavily based on reading. I would reccommend him to anyone.

I love Professor Tucker!!! He is def one of my favorite professors at MHC! And he's really nice. I'm sad that I probably will not have a chance to take a class with him again. Social theory can def be boring, but he makes it so much better. I find his lectures interesting and he is a fair grader.

MY FAV PROFESSOR OF ALL TIME! I love him! He assigned a LOT of reading, but you can skim it. He expects you to talk in class. Didn't find him a tough grader. Got A- on papers and assignments. He is such a nice guy; willing to talk anytime about career, grad school, assignments, and life. Makes lectures really interesting. Really knows theory well!

This class had A LOT of material to cover, and most of it was boring as hell, but Professor Tucker was so great about it. He was always clear on his requirements, stuck to the syllabus, made himself available outside class and CONSISTENTLY advertised his office hours and reminded us to come. He graded hard, he expects a lot for an A.

I love KTuck. He's awesome. His lectures are a little dull at some points (due to the subject), but he always spices them up. He's very clear, and willing to explain things again. Stayed true to the syllabus (so rare!). Hard grader, but invents ways to get extra credit. He is a really great professor, and he makes major reqs enjoyable!

I don't know how it's possible to make social movements boring, but somehow prof. Tucker has done just that. Also, he assigns a 20 page paper. I never understand why instructors do this. Completeing a 20 page paper does NOT mean that the student has learned a significant amount of material, it just means that they are good bullsh*tters. terrible!

All I can say is Tucker is the MAN! He is one of the best professors at this school. Organized, interesting, never leaves you confused about anything, good sense of humor. You can tell he's brilliant, but he never flaunts it, and he makes everything easy to understand.

Prf. Tucker is the best soc. prof with dry humor that many don't understand. He is just simply great intellectual with obsession for Marx, Habermas, and feminist theorists. he is great adn hilirious.
