Lectures are a little boring, but overall nice guy. Gives homework every single class but usually gives "odds" so answers are in the back of the book. Test are based completely off of the review sheet; so if you understand that, you will be fine.

He's a really nice guy, but if you aren't the type that enjoys copying notes off of a chalkboard for the full hour, then you'll be bored out of your mind. It can be real tough to pay attention. He also assigns homework after every class, which is a pain when it's three times a week

Dr. Brakke's tests were always preceded by a study guide that WAS basically the test, with some different numbers. He's very helpful, but he sometimes mumbles and is hard to understand. His sense of humor is dry (and therefore awesome in my opinion). We used the textbook every night for homework that was to be collected the next day.

Brakke makes sure that his class is straight forward- the subject matter is difficult so he's not out to trick anyone into getting a poor grade. He doesn't give a crap if you come to class, but you will. Miss one class, and you'll pay for it for the rest of the semester!

I like Dr. Brakke because he's really easy to understand. Like even someone really stupid like me can follow him all the time, so thats a huge accomplishment on his part! And he doesn't make you feel dumb if you ask stupid questions. Also, he gives helpful assignments and for each question, he'll write a thorough explanation of what it's about.
