Comment:
He is the NICEST professor ever. He makes you want to come to class because he's just always so happy. He REALLY knows his stuff. He talks very fast so I recommend you type your notes, even record lectures if you missed something. But he provides lists which are easy to follow. Totally taking another class with him!

Green is the type of teacher that you need to listen to in class. Try your best to take down everything he says. His tests are repeated yearly and you should always remember to take notes on the lists that he dictates - very important. Before your tests in this class make sure you get his previous tests, because he usually keeps the same tests.

Comment:
Professor Green could SLOW DOWN a bit; paces and verbalizes a lot! High expectations and amount of reading for a second year course. Books too expensive - help! However, an extremely intelligent, passionate, knowledgable and friendly Prof. Did his best to answer questions during lectures even though they interrupted his (rapid) train of thought.

Comment:
RLG 202 was quite difficult for a second year course. Green assigns work that requires rote memorization of seemingly endless lists. A more conceptual approach focussed on encouraging an understanding of broad his., rlg. & phil. concepts would be better.

Prof. Green is very familiar with the material he teaches. He really gets into his lectures, i.e. no monotony. Lots of material covered on the term tests and the essays really get you thinking but the quality of the learning experience is worth it.
