Comment:

Definitely one of my least favorites, and definitely not recommended. He is too critical of students' papers and isn't clear enough on his expectations. Too much peer review, and it's all b.s. anyway. He is an interesting and pretty nice person, and some of the topics are intriguing, but he's too harsh of a grader. Don't do it.

he is much too opinionated in his students papers. If you are writing about a topic that he doesnt like he wont let you write about it. The class is supposed to be about the composition however, he grades more on the content. He needs to keep his comments out of the students papers.

Huggins is the man! There are opportunities to do rewrites on essays and he is a fair grader. The amount of writing was not that bad, and all you had to do was read the assignments and pay attention in class. He is very down to earth. He also allows some absences based on your situation. Ken is one of the best english teachers i've ever had.

I ended up with some very interesting papers, but some of his comments on my papers were confusing and did not relate to the material. Fair grader. ps - 1000 words is a minimum, not a maximum, don't let what he says fool you.

Ken really cares about his students, and is always there to help. He even gives students his home phone number. He can be a little harsh on criticizing topics you’re thinking about writing on, but other than that I couldn’t think of anything “bad” about him. He reminds me of Kremer on Seinfeld :0)

I had him for short story and writing from personal experience. I found him to kinda boring in SS, but so amazing and helpful in the second one. I would recommend him to anyone because he is helpful, and really helped me get through a tough time in my personal life.
