She is great...very helpful (esp with stats if you ask for it!). I never thought I'd like research until I took her. Then took her for other classes and it was great. No wonder she won top 3 teacher last year in whole school!

"I am really hardcore about this stuff," she once said. Goodwin is a nice person,but she demands alot of work that is not always helpful if stats are not your forte. she has little compassion for people who can't grasp the concepts & continues plowing forward in spite of people lagging behind. don't take her. kotchick or papadakis is the way to go!

don't know what this person's problem is; Dr. Goodwin is an awesome teacher. went on vacation, but SHE DESERVED IT!! Sick, but answered all of our questions before we had the exam. Very helpful all semester and one of best teachers I've had at Loyola.

Went on vacation to New Orleans week before the exam, and then took a sick day the day before the exam. Didn't even show up to proctor her own exam. Teaches as is she were teaching 2nd grade, a bit condescending and not helpful. Won't give test grades w/o a personal meeting to discuss test. Avoid

Dr. Goodwin is one of the most helpful professors at Loyola. She really wants everyone to do well and to learn, which we do. I have always had to work my ass off for her classes, but I loved them by the end. And I LOVE the powerpoints...it makes it so much easier!

Extremely nice, and manages to make class interesting... sometimes. Class can be boring, but it's not too difficult. The mini-tests for each chapter tend to be fairly easy, as long as you have a basic grasp of the chapter's concept. Hm... anything else? She's pretty hot, I guess, so that's a plus.
