Do not take him, I repeat do not take him. I took professor Coughlin for micro and it was the worst. Most of your grade is from 3 tests that he makes impossible. Everyone would fail and he would curve it to a C just so everyone barely passed. Unless you want a C after putting in a lot of work I do not suggest taking him.

This is the best teacher I have ever had and probably will ever have in college. Read the textbook and talk to him. He has a lot of experience in the field and what he teaches you is vital for your future when you choose to invest or buy a large item like a home, college (debt) or car

As an adjunct professor, it is clear that he has other priorities other than teaching and helping students. The classes are one-way conversations where the professor gives his lecture and allows little-to-no room for the students to ask questions. Yet, he complains that there is no class participation - contradiction.

I took Coughlin for Macroeconomics- if you struggle with the subject like me, be prepared to study from the textbook religiously. He goes through PP slides very quickly, and is a little confusing. Homework every week, occasional pop quiz. His exams are MC and short answer. Final was picking essays about economic crises. TAKE NOTES!! Hard work A

Don't take him. He is a terrible teacher. He reads off the review slides from the textbook and more than often he confuses himself claiming that the textbook is wrong when clearly he just can't teach. He only goes over definitions in class and expects that to help you with the math aspect. Terrible teacher AVOID

online class is not as easy as it sounds...trys to trick u a lot with the quizzes and you can't even refer back to the chapter notes because they are totally different from what the test questions are. What ever happened to tests relating to what you actually learned!?!?!

He a pro at what he does. He breaks everything down into the simplest terms to try and help you understand better. He doesn't give out many homework assignments for macro and he grades fair. If you put the effort forth you'll get atleast a "B"

Microeconomics is not easy, you will have to read and go through your notes. Have to go to classes, pay attention. If you are willing to study and do homework you will get a good grade. Hard tests. Final is all semester, so careful with him !
