You will be just fine don't panic. He doesn't test on mathematical part mostly. His practice MCQs would get you full on MCQs. Don't use the book, use his class notes and notes on his website. Homework is a lot if you want to understand it.

It is not a hard course but he makes this course hard and complicated. Never reply to emails. TA were also useless. Assignments were hard but does not explain much about it. But, still have to attend class and tutorial.

Attending classes is a must. All materials covered in class are used in assignments, text questions, and exams. He might be a little quick in lecture so it's best to study off textbook questions. His exams are VERY fair. Final even had an exact same question from assignment. Not an easy course though so work hard!

An embarrassment to the profession of professors. The quality of his teaching can only be comparable to that highschool teacher that you hated because he has all these strict rules, lack of availability, obsolete teaching methods and limited additional materials for further reference. Honestly, stay away from him. He is THAT bad.

Does not reply to emails ever! Give you questions on assignments that he didn't even cover in class. Talks nothing about midterm or final when they are approaching.

he has a tendency to stop the whole lecture every single time a late student comes in and just stares at them for about 5 seconds.. weird prof.. no help at all with the course material when asking for help and looks like troll.

OK professor. Exams are fairly easy and he scales the class. Seems to be very knowledgably about the subject which causes him to go off tangent. Read the book to study for the exams, not his notes.

I remember taking Econ 331 with him in the late 90's. He gave some lecture about having cell phones turned off and not being late to his lecture. What a total hypocrit, he was always late, showed up to class all sweaty and he looked like he was going to have a heart attack. He stared people down that were late even though he was too.

OK Prof, knows his stuff, fairly helpful, long lectures with examples. Fair exams and marking. Pretty average course and prof. Does tend to wander in lectures though.

Material and lectures were interesting. The midterm and finals were very easy as long as you read the text. His lectures provide you with the basics, so reading the text is important(don't worry, chapters are short). Definitely recommended if econ is your thing

The material is very easy. The assignments were VERY similar to examples in class and in questions from the textbook. Helpful during office hours, talks alot and might tangent a little, but sometimes basically gives you the answers (term assignment). Midterm and final were very fair.

Great prof in comparison to your other choices for this class... Good guy, knows his stuff for sure. This class is a requirement for an honours degree for a reason. You need to take the time to UNDERSTAND the concepts if you want to do well. Ask for help if you need it. o/w don't expect to get above avg.

He wont teach you what you actyually need to know for his Finals. On top of this, he tends to favor a couple people in class and be lenient to them while letting the rest suffer. Not flexible on exam marking.

Comment:
His mid-terms and finals were MUCH more challenging that the lectures indicated. For some reason our final was much more difficult than to those he has given in the past. Also, the TAs were of little help. This is a MATH course, NOT and Econ course, proceed with caution.
