This is easily the worst professor I have ever had, I took his course in the winter of 2006 and it was a waste. He only covered four of the 8 chapters he was supposed to with any decency. Professors like this should not be allowed to a chance to teach such important fundamentals if they are going to leave half of it out. Arrogant as hell too.

He gives good lectures, reasonable quizzes and exams, and knowledgeable. However, although I got a very good grade from him, I don't know why I never liked this guy. He tries to be nice in the class, but you can see devil behind his face. Don't bother yourself by going to his office. He is to arrogant and pride, and that's why nobody likes him.

Kim Boyer only cares about himself and getting done every day. He has no interest in helping students. He BARELY taught us the basics and gave very hard problems on exams. He did not prepare us in the least for upcoming classes. I think it is pretty bad when you you are reading through the material half of it isnt even talked about by him.

The professor did a good job in giving good notes, fair quizzes, a fair midterm and a fair final exam. He can be a big pain in the butt if things don't go his way... If you take him, make sure that you do all the suggested chapter problems he assigns. If you can do them, you should be fine for the quizzes and exams. Oh yea...don't be late to class!

He wasn't bad the quarter I took it. Taught the material well. The other guy who "likes" boyer shined boyer's multiplexer if you know what i mean. Boyer won't help you outsite of class. First midterm is cake, final is hard as hell. Quizes are okay if you study. Most of the class will get a 'C'
