Dr. Harris is one of the nicest professors at UNCC. For this class, specifically, it is not mandatory to come since all of the notes are posted on Canvas. She gives extra credit for attendance if she sees that not a lot of people attended the lecture. Overall, I enjoyed her lecture and the material is easy to understand.

She was very scatterbrained for this course: consistently made errors on each test, even putting in questions we hadn't covered yet. However, she would always go back and give us credit when the mistake was her own. Her lectures can be confusing. She seems to work out problems in convoluted ways instead of showing us the more straight-forward way.

I absolutely love Dr. Harris! She is the sweetest teacher and if you ever need help with anything she gets the job done. If you need more time to complete an assignment just shoot her an email and she gives you extra time for full credit. We also don't use a textbook which I love. Great teacher! It's an easy A class.

I don't know what her deal was this semester, but she was really off her game with assigning homework and clarifying when and what was due when. She's a fine teacher, but she was really unhelpful for our stuff outside the classroom.

Great Professor! She really cares about her students and wants you to learn the material. I was so scared going into Calculus, but Dr. Harris explained the material so well, that it was hard to not understand. She is laid back and fun and has an interesting approach to teaching Calculus. I would recommend her. Great personality!

What an asset to UNCC, she is a rare find here: she actually has a degree in math, speaks English, likes teaching, & wants you to do well! She doesn't believe in making a tough subject harder. She related a concept to a Hershey's kiss & brought us all one on exam day as a reminder! Lots of extra credit... Come to class for that and entertainment!

I cannot stress enough just how WONDERFUL a teacher Dr. Harris is! I am AWFUL at math yet she makes the concepts so clear I got an A! She is a rare math teacher who loves her job and break things down into bite size pieces you can understand! If you ever have a chance to take her, I would do it!!! I love her!!
