Comment:

She loves gothic film and if you can find the villain/hero aspects and think outside the box, you will do well. She can be unclear and talks a lot but if you listen, you will find great ideas for your papers. Doesn't make you buy any textbooks. Often picks favourite but do what she wants and you will be one. Crazy intelligent and interesting.

She is amazing. She has a way of thinking and every time she wants you to understand that. If you get what she wants you will score. By the end of the semester you will understand that every thing was in front of you. She just loves gothic movies and to score in her class you needs to understand villains logic. She repete same thing over and over.

Dont take this professor, she doesn't care about the students. She just looks for her profit only and she is so confused all the time. Doesn't know what she is doing, so don't take her, you'll thank me later Doesn't deserve the 1's I gave her but had to because field is required.

I've had Kim for two different courses now, and I thoroughly enjoyed both. Her attention to detail is incredible and like others have said, she truly knows her stuff. Fair marker, gives you an opportunity to edit and re-submit if your mark doesn't reflect your effort. Extremely helpful. If you can take a course with her, do it.

Her grading is inconsistent. Changes her mind about assignments, discussions, EVERYTHING!! Very particular about assignments; style, paragraph #, etc.Drops text books a random. Makes you watch more film than discuss the texts. TALKS!! At great length. Redundant. Very wordy. Cancels class at last minute. She's frustrating.

I'm not sure I like her. She over-describes everything, goes on tangents, interrupts students to give her own opinion. I think she plays favourites. The horror as a cultural critique is a really fun theme.

She is super funny and fun to listen to when she goes off on rants about the government. Overall, excellent prof. The only complaint is that sometimes she's not clear with instructions for homework.
