He is a really funny old man but his classes are boring and the material is pointless. It was a waste of time. I did not enjoy this class. He is still really nice though.

Well for starters perhaps an indepth portrayal of the history of Canadian Film Policy through the eyes of a struggling filmaker, was probably not the best class to sign up for. My main problem with Cox was that he taught to the enlightened film students and ignored the plebe comms students; that, and his shameless joke recycling.

Boooooring. Almost lethally. I can actually feel waves of physical pain rippling through me sitting in his class. Do not take his courses. Considering his teaching style, he is a hard marker when it comes to papers, and his attempts at wit are great, for the first two classes. Lots of questions on finals. Left me uninspired.

huge mistake, no understanding of the material that he teaches, hard to follow up, and not easy to argue with, very very very biased. please some body tell him that emotions and reasons are interconnected and human without emotions are animals.

Great professor, quite possibly my best one all year. Classes are quite enjoyable, funny, and educational. I've learned a lot about the topic he's taught, and as stated before, quite possibly my most enjoyable class.
