Totally unclear. I won the competition project and still received barely a B. You think you're doing well, then you get your grade and it's marginal. Not clear, not funny, and not a good teacher. I rather have Kerry Nelson any day! (and she scares me)

Ko is a great teacher, he is very helpful if you ask him for help but he doesn't kiss your ass and baby you. if you want to learn from the class& do well in it you need to put in alot of effort. show up to class and ask questions. getting NO sleep and being stressed out is a guarantee in this major; and it only gets worse, so get used to it.

He makes you feel like that you are doing a good job and in the end (unless you kiss his ass and become one of his favorites, if you have the stomach for it) you will end up with a C, after all the hard work. He is extremely misleading and he is not even a great architect.

He's a funny guy, and nice but is also misguiding. He told me that my project looked "fine," and I got a "c" on it. he likes certain students, and is not clear on what exactly he wants and HOW to do it, but if you're in the ID program, kiss his butt because you'll have him alot

He is the WORST! Former students working in the industry agree, a horrible instructor who would rather make jokes during lecture than teach you anything worth while. Favors "chosen" students.I am very disappointed in his behavior as a teacher. Keep your mouth shut, kiss BUTT and forget about learning anything from his classes.

Kotaro is the best teacher I have ever had. The assingments start out very easy and get very hard. He explains things very well. If you have a question, make sure you ask him and don't get behind. He is not strict on turning in assignments, as long as you have all of them on the day of the final, that is all that matters. You can redo projects.

Ko favors students and this is unfair to others who really want to learn. He seems impatient with students and makes the B/C class students feel low compared to the constant A students. He should not favor but does. Watch out for this and ask lots of questions during the design process.
