Comment:

I am sure she is an expert in Media Planning, but she doesn't explain the information well to students. Her assignments are also very unclear and disorganized. Everyone in class is lost when she is giving lectures. She is very nice and sweet, but I would take another proffessor if given the chance.

She's a really nice person, but not a great professor. Class deadlines and specific assignment requirements become really disorganized. Its not her accent thats the barrier, its her not completing thoughts and expecting student to completely learn everything individually. Exams are difficult.

Avoid at all costs. The language barrier is terrible and I sadly didn't learn anything. Comm teachers should at least have english as their first language, right? Extremely unorganized, doesn't answer emails AT ALL, useless course work, unclear power points that she cant even explain herself. I had better professors at community college!!!

This teacher is the worst at CSUF- STAY AWAY. 1. She lectures straight from PPT & does not give any bit of helpful info 2. You ask her to elaborate her info & she cant. 3. All she says is YEAH 4. Her grading isn't clear 5. Doesn't reply back to emails 6. Doesn't post grades within a timely manner 7. Thinks she is teaching but I didn' learn :(

I've had Ju-Pak for 2 classes this year, & she is one of the most kind & caring professors you will ever meet. She truly wishes well for her students & their success. Participation & attendance are very important to her, so make sure you show up or you'll have a hard time passing the class. Slightly unorganized, so check Titanium and read the book!

Literally the worst teacher I have ever had in my life. Hard to understand, unorganized, unclear instructions for assignments, takes days to reply to emails. The worst though is her STUPID packet. Makes you print 20+ pages each class for notes & you put all of them together @ end of semester for packet. BUT you have to SCAN the 100+ & turn in onlin

There's about three tests, however the final is only on the last few chapters so that's good. There's a lot of group work, so make sure to find hard workers who care about the class. There's about a ten point quiz at the end of every week, but it's open note, so make sure to go to class! Lots of lectures, but she's very wise on her subject.

You're going to be in a group for the entire semester so make sure you get good group members! She gives quizzes every class and she gives you most of the answers so show UP TO CLASS. I didn't buy the book but I studied all of her slides and got an A on the exams. Its an easy class although it IS boring, you just have to put effort into it.

A lot of people give her a bad rap, but she's really not a bad professor at all. I'm less impressed by the disrespectful attitude of the students towards her. The reason they do badly in her class is because they spend the whole time talking to one another. Good personality and sense of humor, will make sure you succeed if you put in effort.

Mainly, expect weekly "pop" quizzes in which she gives you a lot of the answers to. This is why you should attend class (only allowed to miss 3). Take this with friends if you can, you're in the same group for the entire semester so it can make a huge difference. Tests were a bit tough to me. Just make sure to take lots of notes and pay attention.

As a person, she's nice. As a professor, she's boring. She reads straight from the PowerPoints, which are all available online. It was hard paying attention to her. She gives out quizzes every week but provides answers for 710 questions. Test questions are mostly from previous quizzes. Group projects are confusing but doable. Overall easy class.

Ju-Pak is a really nice lady. Has an accent that can be hard to understand sometimes, but she's really nice and really wants her students to do well. She gives pop quizzes but gives you the answers. If you can't understand her, then read the book and you'll be fine. She knows a lot about advertising. She's always there to help.

"Those who can't do, teach" Is EXACTLY what I think every time I attend this class. The WORST professor I have ever had. She doesn't know what she is doing. Her assignments and lectures are unorganized. Her lectures are quite possibly the most boring lectures that I have ever sat through. I will never take this professor again.

Her lectures are well organized and thorough. Quizes are straight from lecture and some book-print her lecture slides b4 class and you'll do fine on wkly quizzes. Highly intelligent, caringwarm (providing students snacksjuice after exams) and nice. She's even fashionable wan exotic accent and her famous killer cheek bones!

Take this class. Ju-Pak is dope. Sure it can get boring at times but her weekly quizzes are very easy based on lecture and half of those questions used are used again on the midterm/final. Don't skip class too much because of the quizzes, but if you just show up and give a LITTLE effort, you should easily land at least a B. You'll learn a lot too!

If you go to class, you should be able to get at least 8/10 on every single quiz. Lectures are super boring and monotone but I've heard she is knowledgable and has a ton of experience in advertising. Tests come from different quizzes and textbook. Pretty easy class, if you don't mind boring monotone lectures then take her to get a B

The best professor I've ever had at Cal State, the material is utterly boring, but she does her job well. Really knows her stuff. I love how much she cares for her students, she would often include answers within the quizzes and for the final she gave us free points. The only aspect I disliked was the group projects, such a pain!

Class lectures were boring when she was reading from the publisher provided powerpoint lectures. However, when she talked about her career and experience in the Advertising Industry it got much more interesting. Weekly Quizzes, 2 Group Projects & 3 Tests. Make sure you get in a good group or you will probably regret taking this class.

Good teacher and she really cares about her students. Sometimes the lectures can get a little boring but she really knows advertising. I'm taking my 3rd class with her this summer and haven't regretted it yet.
