His lectures are EXTREMELY boring but as long as you attend class every day he is very lenient with grades. He curves and adds bonus points. The only people he didn't give extra points to were the ones who missed a lot of classes.

He was a great teacher the class was a lot of information to handle in the summer but he did nothing but want to help as long as you come to class and listen you will pass i got a B+ and never did more than read over notes for the test ...... take him he's a great professor and we didn't need a book or the lab workbook either which was nice

Dr. Kung is great. However, he is hard to understand and administers unbearable tests. As long as you come to class you should pass. Volunteer a lot and make sure he knows your name. I participated by raising my hand and asking questions in class and I believe that is what saved me considering I failed every test. This was a summer class I got a B-

The most lenient teacher ever. I was pretty busy with my major courses so I spent no time a all for this class. My tests were 31, 61, 41 plus the 24/25 on lab. I managed to pass with a C-. I would highly recommend anyone to take him because he kows his stuff and you'll learn so much with him as an instructor.

Very great teacher! Dr. Kung wants to help you pass. I read the comments on this website before I took his class. The comments were just. He curves the grades and during the summer session he gave extra points to the students that came when he took the roll. Advice: Come to class regularly, pay attention, and it will definitely pay off!

Amazing professor. Thought I was going to end up with a C, ended up with an A. If you always go to class, participate, and really try, you'll probably get a great grade no matter what. Just show you want to be there. Kids that don't won't get the curve.

His curve is a great help!! He is a nice guy, but he tends to go off subject when explaining in class. You must attend class because some things that are not in the notes come from what he says in class. His tests were harder than we all expected. But thanks to the curve the majority of us passed with a B or higher.

I would recommend taking Dr. Kung. His tests are all based on the notes he give in class and you can print them off on his website. His tests can be a little tough but as long as you study the notes you should do okay. He also curves everyones tests scores!!

He was awesome! I enjoyed his class alot, and he does everything he can to make sure you get an A (extra credit, supereasy assignments, etc.). It's practically impossible to get a bad grade in there unless you just don't come to class and don't do anything. He's really laid-back, and I actually looked forward to his class. Highly recommended.

overall, didnt really like him- wasn't bad tho. he was just kind of boring for my tastes. his lectures werent very interesting. He likes maps- if you can incorporate a map into your presentation- do it! wasnt a very personable teacher- went to talk to him once a/b a project- didn't appear very interested. he's nice just kind of boring...

This was a great class! The text was very helpful and appropriate along with the videos for the class. The assignments did take some time, but they were quite managable if the time was taken to read/watch the material. Dr. Kung grades fairly if you do not copy/paste from the internet.

Comment:

Dr. Kung is very helpful. He doesn't take attendance but it is beneficial to go to class. He sometimes gives extra credit for attendance the next class meeting after a test. I definitely recommend taking Dr. Kung's class.
