Comment:
Kurt's really nice and the class is basically set up as a collaboration with your group on different editing and screening projects. The assignments are fairly easily and paying attention in class isn't too difficult. I'd recommend if you're a WRTC major, especially if you're on the rhetoric side and don't want something too sciency

Schick is one of the best professors I've had! He co-write the textbook, but we only used it for a few weeks. He is very personable with students and wants them to learn. Class starts off with individual work but the second half of the class is a Wikipedia project. Sucks if you have a bad group, but really interesting to write your own article.

Kurt is an incredibly laid back and nice guy. I've never really enjoyed writing, but I found myself looking forward to his class, even though it was at 9 AM. He's the head of the writing department so he really knows his stuff. Definitely take him if you can, great professor.

Kurt is one of the first WRTC teachers I have had that is committed to having his students truly learn/internalize the material. He planned the course and assignments so that we had to understand and use the content, but he also is very flexible about how much work you do. Very nice, very funny, and really wants to see you grow in his class.

Professor Schick makes the class a breeze. He assigns the two papers you have in sections, a Research Paper and a Persuasion Paper. He is very clear in what he expects and is always available for help. One of the most dedicated professors. He is the head of the Writing Center too. He is interested in the subject and cares about his students.

Don't take this class, unless you have to. This class was easy, but pointless. I personally think Prof. Schick just likes to hear the sound of his voice.

Really easy and so nice! He's a good teacher, but can sometimes ramble on (don't take this class at 8am). You do some interesting papers. He doesn't focus on writing as much as he does rhetoric.

His class wasn't hard, but the class has no structure and you have no idea what he wants from you. Schick picks favorites, and if you aren't one I would say it's not even worth going to the class. I knew nothing about rhetoric before this class and I still don't!

Extremely nice and helpful..funny as well. Not a hard class by any means. He gives you a lot of freedom in your papers which can be hard to handle. Lectures can be slow and boring if there isn't class participation. Strongly recommend though!

He's such a nice guy. His papers aren't hard, the only hard part is he gives you a lot of freedom and for some its hard to handle. Other than that he's really helpful. Only bad thing is his lectures are sometimes boring and he repeats stuff a lot. Great teacher, take him!

Don't take his 8am. He's a real morning person, and if you're not...you know. His class isn't too hard if you are good at papers, if not, well good luck. He's really into rhetoric and you do a paper on American History X. He cancels class for a whole week for just one week to work on your first big paper. He's okay.

Dr. S was a fun guy. He really knows what he is talking about which was obvious when we had class discussions. Really approachable and understands that we are college students so we often have to balance btwn school and play. Learned a lot from him.

Nice guy. Easy class. Interesting if you like to talk in class, but if you get bored, you fall fast asleep. I would definatelly take this class again and recommend it to others. I'm going to take another Schick class even though it's out of my major.

Talks non stop about nothing relevant. Rambles on all class. Very unclear about assignments. You can redo your assignment, but its very frustrating when theres nothing wrong with it to begin with.
