Professor Steedle is a good teacher. He explains concepts well. His test can be a little challenging though. You must study and know how to solve the problems from every chapter. I found the test challenging but not impossible. Pretty nice and interesting guy.

Comment:

Very high participation oriented class with most of the work being papers. The mid term and final was a paper. The class is pretty straight forward reading the material and class discussion. One of the easier accounting classes with not much number crunching. Prepare to do lots of writing.

I felt he was unclear about the subject matter. He read from the book and forgot to include steps in his examples. Not hard. Just be prepared to teach yourself.

Comment:

Lamont is a great teacher. Tests are usually 6 questions with a few TF, MC and they are not tricky, usually the basics and he goes over everything in class. he gives you the test from the semester before to study with. Hes a funny guy and lets you out early and not much homework. You learn a lot i would definitely take him again !

Steedle explains core concepts well. However, this class does require a lot of studying. He gives homeworks, quizes, and projects that add up to one test grade. He gives you a practice exam from a previous semester. He is a reasonable professor. But I had to study a lot.

This class was really not too bad. He likes to do things his own way so sometimes he gets confused, but the material is pretty easy so the tests were not too bad. For a summer course, make sure never to miss class, do Excel project (very easy), do homework, and study. Good Luck!!

If you do not get an A in this class you are retarded. 2 online exams make up two thirds of your grade, and the the other third is online homeworks. He does not care what your grade is on the homework, you just have to do it. This man is an animal and if you have a pulse you will get an A.

The class is a joke. Everything is on-line in your own time (including his two exams). His lectures are very boring, and you're expected to attend every class. You won't learn very much from him, but you should read the book anyway and he does clear a few things up along the way. If you're an accounting major, you might not want to take him

Great teacher who gives you the benefit of the doubt. If you try your hardest you will do fine. Frequent class quizes to try and boost your grade and you can't get lower than a 60 on them. Take Steedle.

Very dry material (it is accounting), but he is definitely the BEST teacher in the department. He has all kinds of connections, so we go on field trips to all kinds of places. He asked if we wanted a final, we said no, so we didn't have a final. Take this class.

He's a nice guy, but horrible in teaching. Uses the worst text book ever! Class was very confusing, the text made it worse... and makes a lot of mistakes in class. But nice guy and if you're very smart you'll understand and will enjoy the class.
