A fantastic professor, one of the best Metro has. Approach the subject comprehensively, holistically, and helped us understand how everything fit together. Wasn't easy by any means, and challenged us if we made a point or had an opinion.

Denning is my favorite professor at this school. He takes a unique approach to teaching but he's one of the coolest people ever. Enjoyed his class but some people stopped showing up, he's an acquired taste.

Even though he is labeled as "spacy" or "out there" he is one of the best professors I have ever had. It is apparent that he truly cares about class time and information sharing, not information barking. His class discussions is a much better way to approach high-level material and I would definately recommend his classes to everybody at Metro.

He is a not a boring teacher. It is best to be in class because his test are from class notes not the book. There are no reviews to prepare for his test. He is a bit out there and spacey... it almost seems like he smokes pot before he comes to class. Or has done many drugs in the past. Grades are usually curved and based on class opinion.

I would definitely recommend this teacher. He is very good at what he does and great at explaining the basics of American Government and political policy. You can tell that he cares about his students and their futures. He learned all of our names in a class of around forty in about two weeks.

Lance is a fantastic teacher. Like others have said, he is a bit eccentric and scattered, but his depth and breadth of knowledge more than make up for it. He clearly has a passion for teaching and takes an interest in the welfare of his students. Do the readings (and cite them on tests and in papers) and you will do fine.

Denning is an awesome professor. To be sure, he is a little disorganized but it's not that bad. He is very interested in students actually learning something. Plus, he doesnt use the class room to advance a particular political ideology (he argues different sides).

Definateley the weridest teacher I have ever had!!! In the middle of lecture will stop and walk around the room for 10 mins and say some ones name then go back to the front and start discussions again. Although it seems to be an easy class so far!!! If you can handle a class that is structured around a syllabyus, but crazy lectures that make no sense this is the class for you!

This guy can talk for hours. He dumbs things down because it seems that he thinks college students know NOTHING. I have never been more bored. If you can avoid it, NEVER take his classes.
