Comment:

Lance is the sweetest guy you'll ever meet, he cares so much about you succeeding in his class. Although it is a once a weeknight class he always keeps you engaged and interested in the topics. He truly made me fall in love with english again. The texts he chooses are odd choices but SUCH GOOD BOOKS! (If you read them) 10/10 will take a class again

Lance is an awesome prof. He listens to what you have to say and validates everyone's opinion whether it's wrong or right. He's not a super tough essay marker and gives good feedback. Make sure you go to class because he takes attendance everyday and participation is a big one for him. I would definitely take Lance's class again

Amazing teacher, very well understanding. If you struggle to meet a due date he is VERY easy forgiving and will gladly move dates for you. 100% would recommend his class if you have a heavy loaded semester.

Lance is amazing, definitely the best prof I've had so far. He is very open to your ideas and shows he cares. He is extremely helpful, for example, he responds very quickly to emails. In ENGL1406 specifically, the course covered not only texts but films as well, and he presented them in an interesting way. He is so great at what he does, a 10/10!

I was fortunate to have Lance as my first year English professor. He was so approachable, encouraging and genuinely interested in what I had to say. I learned so much from him in that first year course and I still think his course was one of the absolute best I've had at Acadia. Lance raises the bar high with his humble aura! Lance is the man!

Lance is an amazing professor. Funny, good natured and very easygoing. He was good about giving extra time to compleat assignments if problems ensued. He is talkative and I found him easy to like. Missing class is okay, however books and poems are read and discussed almost every class so keep yourself up to date.
