Comment:

Larry is a cool guy. He comes off as gruff but he's nice. He doesn't explain what he's doing. He just does it and you have to figure it out. He makes you write out all of your definitions and test questions with the answers which forces you to learn them. Larry had a stroke half way through my class so he didn't finish it. I hope he's ok.

Comment:

Reads directly from the book, and in our class he didn't even use the same book that we had. Gives you the answers to the tests and they make up your entire grade, so if you do the reviews you'll get an A. Very dry sense of humor, and I found myself listening to my Ipod more than I did him. If you read the book, you'll do fine in his class.

Mr. Cross does pretty much read from the book, but he also explains a lot from his own knowledge, and he definitely knows his stuff!! Tests are a breeze, he gives you study guides that tell you EXACTLY what is on the test, so there isn't a reason you would do bad. Not much class interaction/discussion. You'll learn a lot if you pay attention!!

mr cross is the most straightforward, clearest, and by-the-books teacher in the world. his method forces you to learn about government and you will probably not be happy when you find out what it's doing

While he was actually teaching my class, all he did was sit in front and talk. Nothing else. He practically read the chapter back to us and made us write questions out all hour. I wouldn't recommend him for anyone who is actually interested in Political Science

Mr. Cross is a reasonable teacher. At the begining of most class period, he has a quiz on the chap. The quizzes are true and false.So that should be easy. He spends the "rest" of the class time lecturing.He tells you all the review questions before the test. Also, if you miss his quiz. the only time you can take his quiz are the next class period.

This class is fairly easy to pass if you don't mind reading a lot of material. I wouldn't recommend this class during the summer because it can be exhausting (boring). Mr. Cross is cool but it always seem like he's yelling and he will talk the whole class session so be prepared.

Larry is a really nice guy. He takes attendence, but it doesn't matter if you're not there. A lot of quizzes; don't forget to read the chapters...very important for tests and quizzes. He gives almost all of the answers to the tests before during the review and the key terms, so write it all down. Other than that, it truly is an easy course.

I didn't think Mr Cross was bad at all. He doesn't exactly make the most of class time it does get a little boring, but PS 110, not exactly the most exciting. I found him very funny and a really nice guy. Easy to pass class.

WOW!!!! What can I say other than boring!!!! He is a really nice guy but he doesnt really do much other than read from the text. Be prepared to take many notes. Also make sure to read the chapter , this is the only way to pass the test and quiz.

Well government (I mean Political Science, I wouldn't want to sound like a high schooler) was always hard for me but I could atleast work at it. His notes though are all lecture and he isn't very clear on what to take them on. 2 words Tape recorder (Especially for chapter reviews)
