Larry Curtis is a great professor! It sucks that his class is based on only 3 multiple choice tests though. The tests are hard, but if you go to class and review the notes, it's not that bad. Plus 100/200 points is a C, so you can't do too bad in it. He really is hilarious and one of my favorite professors at this university!

Only has 3 scores and all of them are super hard tests. He doesn't help you in your studies or suggest any type of study guide. Don't expect him to answer any question on the exam even for clarity. Also, he doesn't even remind you when the test day is so make sure you mark it in your calender.

Good teacher and interesting stories. Tests were hard. Didn't really use the book. Buy the powerpoint slide book and take really good notes. Also show up to class, he will be more will to help you out if he sees you in class.

Tests were hard, study the slides as much as possible. The class was very interesting because he does give you real life examples. He curves the grades a lot, do some studying and go to class and you'll do fine.

Class is hard and the test really evaulate your understanding on the information. You do not need the book, just make sure you print out the slides and take notes in class. Mr Curtis uses real life examples to help you understand the materials better. Overall the class was good and I am glad I took it.

No Homework. I don't like not having homework, because it often helps me prepare for tests. Since there are so many kids in class they're not lenient with family/health issues. I missed a week from phenumonia and asked for a test extension. I was told no because 1 exception leads to another. I bombed the test.

Top 10% of the class gets an A, although he doesn't say this until after the first exam. Find the old tests and memorize them - a good amount of the questions will come from them, but not as many as everyone says. Skim the textbook if you bought it. Study the slides hard. The class average of 219 students was 120.7/200 and I got an A with 155/200.

This guy is a hardass but he's pretty cool. He teaches straight from slides that accompany the book so buy the Powerpoint supplemental book if it's available. The book is fairly useless but you can read it for additional examples. Get ahold of old exams. They're available if you know the right person. HUGE curve in this class. 81.5 = A

Class was an A/B curve. You had to really screw up not to get an A or a B. Exams are easier than 215's. He likes to get to know students more in this class, which is more possible since it's a smaller class. Classes were usually not too bad, and never lasted the full 50 minutes. 3 exams and a seminar project required. Great professor.

Really tough tests. He is nice and his lectures are usually funny. But the only points in the class are for 3 tests. And those 3 tests are super hard. I could not find his old tests anywhere. Luckily he curved the class quite a bit which helped me. Overall nice professor but really hard tests!
