Man do I regret taking a class with him. The worst professor I have ever encountered within all my years of education. Constantly gets off topic, his explanations on EVERY topic discussed were extremely difficult to grasp and not well explained at all, and if you slip up because of that, good luck trying to pass. Very egotistical and rude as well.

I took this course despite the bad reviews I saw on this site. I thought with my high attention and dedication to schoolwork that I would be okay. Here's a newsflash, you won't be okay. I am an A student who struggled to get a B- in this course. He doesn't know how to teach, doesn't make sense, and is constantly being corrected by students.

Prof. Johnson is the best stats professor out there. He's a fair grader and gives opportunities to correct homework. His tests are fair and he makes sure your well prepared but you also need to prepare yourself. Overall, if i didn't pay for the class, I would fail just to have him again. I was never good at math and I have an A in his class.

He explains things multiple times in the same way, so if you don't understand it the first time, it won't get any better. Calls students lazy and accuses them of not reading their textbook when they get bad grades on a test. Very unapproachable. Very rude when asked questions in class, or when asked for examples.

Took his class over the summer. He gives 3 exams and 1 cumulative final exam. There are 4 hw assignments that you can correct until you get full credit and there is one easy paper to write. Offers 4% extra credit with regular attendance and a paper. Just don't ask him a question in class though because he will get annoyed. Very unapproachable.

I really enjoyed his class! He is extremely interesting and helpful (as long as you put forth the work). He offers extra credit (well, at least for his summer session) so, make attendance mandatory! He is extremely clear and he tells you exactly what is on his tests!

Professor Johnson helped me a great deal with test anxiety and took a lot of extra time to help me understand the work, it had been a long time since I had taken a math class. He is a very nice man, great teacher and is more than willing to help but do NOT be disruptive or disrespectful in his class, he will let you know about it!

Professor Johnson really tries to make sure no one fails this course. He knows we're all math challenged and gives us every opportunity to pass. He even gives us a chance to fix homework, write a book report about math for extra credit, and extra points for perfect attendance. i don't know what more people want.

Hands down the worst teacher I have had since I returned to Dutchess. This man is rude, arrogant, disrespectful and a total jerk. He belittles students when they ask questions and gives you a writting assignment for a math class. He can not take criticism. Also, many times he screws up scores on tests and asks people to check his math.STAY AWAY
