Peterson is an interesting lecturer, he tries to make things funny by ribbing Dr. Hitchcock. Although he is a good professor, his portion of the MSC tests are pretty tough. He likes to make questions based off of a fact he mentioned once in class. If he does post a review powerpoint, it isn't helpful. Nice guy, just not reasonable tests.

Literally love Larry, he's such a cool professor, you can talk to him about anything for hours and he will really engage with you. Cares a lot about his students, and knows literally everything in his field. Wealth of knowledge. Tests are a bit challenging but if you don't understand something he will explain it until you understand it clearly

Awesome Professor! Makes the lectures fun and interesting, tests are very fair and pretty straightforward, labs are very lenient and he cancels them pretty often, and is very lenient when it comes to grading. I didn't take any notes but went to every class and got an A. I just looked over the power points few days before test and I was set

Such a great guy! Hilarious, teaches clearly, and willing to help! Tests can be on very specific things but the class before the test he does say what you should study. Just awesome is the word that sums him up. Would 100% recommend!

Dr. Peterson is by far my favorite person at University of Miami. He is very funny, very helpful and caring, and a great teacher. He learned 100+ student's names within two weeks and made everyone feel special. The course is difficult as they test over things they say more than what's on the PowerPoint and there are no quizzes so those tests count!

Hands down the best professor I've had so far! Makes an extremely boring class fun. His tests cover a lot of material so they're pretty hard but he gives generous curves. Recommended book..Not needed. Most material are on his power points. No attendance. He's just a really great guy, I'd recommend him a thousand times over. And study for his tests!

Peterson is the man! His class is hard, and you must study. But that's only because he wants his students to learn. He is very entertaining and I would take a class with him any day. If Dr. Thomas is teaching with him though, RUN AWAY. I tell you RUN AWAY.

I had Dr. Peterson's class at 9:05 three days a week, but I was fully awake every time because I love the way he teaches. It's easy to see that he loves what he teaches, and he is extremely helpful. The class itself is not too hard, but you definitely need to study for exams. Not too much work outside of class.
