Ugh. I wish I could say something nice..but he scares me. Everyone felt intimidate...because we never never knew which "side of the window" he was going to be on that day!! He rambles incessantly, is not clear, does not connect point A to B. If he does, it takes him about 54 minutes. Spare yourself. don't take him. (tho he did give me a good mark.)

so so so bad. i've never had a worse teacher i think. he is so unclear and his lectures jump from topic to topic with no connection. he randomly laughs at nothing which is kind of creepy and he jumps around a lot and smacks the table. absolutely terrible, do NOT take it early in the morning you will fall asleep. guaranteed.

Attend class, do some adequate reading, and you'll be on your way to an "A". Ridiculously boring except for his frequent "mmkays" which are reminiscent of Mr. Mackey from South Park. Gets angry when he fails to inspire students to participate. Don't take him early in the morning. If you want to be inspired, take SOCI 1120 with Dr. Seary.

I agree with the negative comments. His lectures were pointless, awful, and rambled to no end. I was scared to ask questions because he mostly belittled those who asked. Sometimes he won't be so bad, then he'll be cruel =( The textbooks ARE YOUR BEST FRIENDS. Quizes are easy (seriously), midterm and tests are a lot harder. Don't take him.

Adding to the last person. There are about 5 people who fall asleep in class everyday. I took the first part of sociology with Dr.Seary and got an A-. Larry Warren is by far the most boring professor I have experienced. He talks about rubbish and you can always expect him to go off topic. Oh yeh 30 people come to class out of a possible 80.

Illiterate fools wanting prefabricated notes and spoonfeeding will find themselves nicely accomodated by the rest of Langara's sociology teachers. Well if you work hard and go to every class and take tons of notes and read the text and take notes you should get an A or something close. This is not a sleeper class you have to work. The text books are good. Mid terms are fair and final wasn;t a shocker, study and you'll be ready!

I went to class every day thinking "why did i come to class?" i had NO idea what was going on..NEVEr got to the point...he must be dreaming! i totally agree with everyone else that thinks so...I'm glad i'm not the only one!! dont take it! drop it before its too late!!
