Comment:

She is great. Was nervous because I'm bad at Biology but she explains everything very well. She gives outlines that have everything that will be included on exams so it's very helpful. She makes it a course that doesn't make me stressed, which I appreciate. Also, she is hilarious. Easy to approach and easy to understand.

Comment:

Would take this class again in a heart beat! Posts very detailed notes online after class if you can't make it and only one lab report and two assignments aside from her two midterms. No final, only another midterm in its place. She's hilarious and is always willing to meet with you if you need help! Would recommend her to anyone needing this class

Comment:

Laura genuinely wants every student in her class to do well. Grade values were evenly distributed throughout lots of assignments. There was nothing worth more than 15%-- including the final. The final is not comprehensive, which is definitely nice. There are also participation marks just for being present when attendance is taken in class.

Laura is outstanding. She is always there for extra help, the course content is clearly outlined and she will give reminders on when assignments are due. The assignments aren't too difficult just a little more time consuming. If you do all of the assignments, study guides and ask for help you will do just fine in this course.

Laura is an amazing proffessor. She is one of the few who actually cares about her students. She posts the notes online but attending her class is reccomeneded because she will go into more detail with some of the things she talks about. She is very explanatory, helpful if you are struggling to understand something from an assignment or from a test

Amazing prof, I absolutely loved her. She write notes along with the class every day. She is extremely helpful and will answer all your questions, in class or privately. She gives you an outline to the midterms and final. As long as you study the outline you will do great on the tests. Assignments are fairly easy. I reccomend taking her class!

FANTASTIC!!! Take this class with her if you are looking for a simple Science with a lab. I could not have asked for a better prof!! You do not need to waste money buying a textbook, just study from her notes in class. If I could take more classes with Laura I would! Trust me, I am no science-centered student, but I managed to pull high eighties :)

Laura is awsome! She writes all notes on the overhead so you don't have to guess at what is important to write down, and she is extremely helpful. Lab sucks, but you'll have that with any prof. Definatly take it from her, especially if your not a science centered student!

Laura is such an awesome prof! She makes things so clear and goes over everything very thouroughly. She posts questions and notes on WebCT and offers to help every way she can. Her assignments are fairly easy but the exams are alot harder than expected. Almost all short answer and some questions are fairly tricky. Other than that, Laura rocks!
