She is just amazing, and also made Biology very easy. I'll definitely take her if I ever get a chance again. The best part is she made study guides almost similar to exams and she also gives chocolate or candies sometimes ;)

Laura is fun and funny, with a killer dry wit. She loves her job and it shows. She makes a potentially complex subject enjoyable and easy to understand . I would happily take another of her classes anytime.

Laura is an amazing prof. I would recommend her to anyone! The course has many different aspects to it including a lab, but you don't feel overwhelmed. There were 2 midterms and a "final" (3rd midterm) and an in class assignment. She is extremely understanding and just a really good person.

Amazing prof, really knows what she's talking about. Her notes are awesome and she makes the class really interesting and enjoyable. Uses a mix of lecturing, videos, and interactive learning. All in all great prof, would definitely take a class with her again.

Laura is a great prof. I had to take Bio 150 and wasnt too sure how I would feel about it but she made the class fun. It didnt feel like a chore to come to class or to do assignments. I would recommend any class by her!

Laura, is a great professor, two midterm, one exam, pre lab questions for lab, top hat and packback, online book, two assignment snork and inheritance assignment quite intresting, she is very caring, gives study guide question which comes in exams, easy marker and very helpful in class and after class. I would recommend all to take class with her.

She is a fantastic professor, you won't regrate I didn't buy any books(the book is available online). However, I paid for 2 apps(Tophat and Packback) which are around of 50CA$ instant 200 a textbook For reaching 85+ in her class, you bet to come, learn, and review. Even the questions on the study guides are similar to the exams.

Great professor. I learned so much about Biology and actually enjoyed this class even though I did not like Bio in high school. She would clearly outline her test and assignment expectations and was extremely helpful when I would struggle with something.

Laura is by far one of my favourite profs at the University and I wish I could take more classes from her. She was clear and concise with her lectures, which made making notes and studying for exams super easy. She tells you exactly what will be on the exam, replies to emails quick, available outside class. Great class for a GPA booster.

Not even sure why I took this class. Nevertheless it was a good average booster, Laura was pretty organized, all the tests were online which was solid, no final. Responded to emails quickly, which is key for an online class. Fair amount of little time consuming assignments and labs though

Laura Ambrose is an amazing professor. She explains the material very well and makes lectures interesting. Her lecture notes are easy to follow through. If you miss a lecture she does post the lecture notes but she does take attendance with Top Hat . Overall shes a great professor and would 100% take a class with her again.
