Dr. Franey is a very good English professor overall. She teaches several classes and is also the Dept. Chair. She is considerate and helpful as well. Her tests can be somewhat hard. She often grades harder than one might expect and some of her assignments make it difficult to receive full credit. I would recommend her to English majors/mins tho.

she's really a sweet lady, and she's really smart. if you talk to her and actually get to know her, she's really damn funny. i've had several classes with her. sometimes she expects too much, but she's really cool. give her a chance.
