Prof. Macdonald is solid in terms of knowing her stuff about Mexico. There was a group project for this class, but you could rate your group mates. The one issue is that she is slow to respond to emails and will sometimes cancel meetings. She's also slow to get grades out. Books for the book review were interesting.
