Laura is a very good professor and will work with students to find a way they can understand the material. This is a very hard class, so you need to go in order to understand the material. She is upbeat and always ready to start class.

O-Chem II was easier than O-chem one after learning the basic principles. She uses problem based learning to teach the students. The time in lecture and recitation is incredibly helpful and lab was a blast. Dr. Salazar is kind and understanding and was willing to make accommodations for me as I struggled with taking exams.

This class is scary so when you get a good teacher you appreciate it. She is awesome at teaching. She is so nice and sweet and very clear. Her tests are not easy of course but she makes it clear what she expects. Best part is she understands you as a student because she remembers being one.
